South West ROCU
The South West Regional Organised Crime Unit (SWROCU) is a collaboration of police officers and police staff from our five regional forces. We’re part of a national network of nine ROCUs covering England and Wales.
Our capabilities are here to advise, to assist, or to fully adopt investigations.
We have more than 20 capabilities that work to Pursue offenders, Protect and Prepare individuals and organisations, and Prevent people from engaging in serious and organised crime.

Covert support
We provide covert methods of gathering intelligence and evidence, from audio and video recording to online and in-person infiltration.

Economic and cyber crime
Investigating and disrupting complex money laundering and fraud, confiscating criminal proceeds and assets, safeguarding against fraud.

Exploitation
Improving the region’s response through tactical advice and support on all aspects of Pursue, Prevent, Prepare and Protect activity.

Intelligence
Sensitive intelligence support and tactical advice, strategic analysis and threat assessment, plus prison intelligence and counter corruption.
