Regional Intelligence Unit Threat Desk

The Regional Intelligence Unit includes an intelligence development threat desk that aligns with the Control Strategy. The teams include analysts, intelligence officers and researchers.

We also have dedicated threat desks for TOEX and the Regional Prison Intelligence Unit (RPIU).

Our services

The threat desk will:

• use strategic assessments to identify collection plans
• gather intelligence
• develop intelligence
• support operational overflow
• support the County Lines Coordinator and Western Balkans Regional Coordinator
• feed intelligence packages to ROCU capabilities, forces and partner agencies

Who can use our services?

• Threat Delivery Group (TDG) and Strategic Governance Group (SGG) attendees aligned to Control Strategy areas
• The force lead for the serious organised crime type who is responsible for requesting force support from the TDG chair
• Thematic threat desk leads

• Monday to Friday 08:00 – 22:00
• Weekends 08:00 – 16:30
