Development and Initial Investigation Team
The Development and Initial Investigation Team (DIIT) is the central point for all requests to come to the Regional Economic and Cyber Crime Unit.
The DIIT does the initial development for investigations and supports intelligence.
Our services
The DIIT can:
- monitor requests to either advise, assist or adopt pieces of work
- hold responsibility for the cyber and economic thematic development groups (TDGs), which include producing the quarterly threat assessments and regional strategic assessment inputs
- produce proactive pieces of work to be actioned – it is not just a reactive function
